I absolutely love my reels from Giving it Lip and would highly recommend their services to everyone. Sophie was a delight to deal with and created a spot on set of Commercial and Narrative scripts just for me- I still can’t believe how much she understood me just from a few initial conversations! On the day of recording Russ was so lovely, he put me completely at ease and gave me confidence in what I was doing and great direction as well as being a pleasure to have a chat with about all his experiences of the VO world (and even provided tea and biscuits!) Russ and Sophie were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Sophie was super receptive to my ideas but also created great, original characters for me to play. They really felt like they were out of an animation and her characters are genuinely hilarious – which can be hard to find in a “from-scratch” reel. Russ’ studio in Brighton is gorgeous and while I was pretty nervous going in, he set up this playful environment where we could just have fun – I forgot about my nerves as soon as I walked in! I can honestly say he brought the best out of me that day. I’m really proud of what we’ve created and I can’t wait to work with them again.

I highly recommend Giving It Lip. I was super impressed with their service. Such a great team to work with. They were amazing, efficient, so friendly and helpful. I didn’t have much knowledge on how I wanted my voice reel, I just knew I wanted one made, it was such an easy and laid back process as both Sophie and Russ made it clear for me to understand and I was guided through it all to come out with a great reel in the end that best suited me. I received great representation straight away with their final product and have already received my first voice over job based on my reel. I have advised several friends (who are looking to get their voice reels made) to use this service, especially if they are looking for a quick turnaround.

Sophie and Russ make me feel at home when recording with them. Sophie nailed the scripts for me and the recording session with Russ was the most fun, enjoyable and exciting time I have ever had in the booth. I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling. Highly recommend and cannot wait to work with them again. 

The whole process with Giving it Lip was fantastic. The level of research and detail that went into the script writing right through to the fine tweaks on the post edit made the value for money exceptionally good. I have worked with a lot of demo producers and Giving it Lip are by far the best in my experience.

Getting new voice reels can be very stressful, but it couldn’t have been more stress-free with Giving It Lip. Sophie was wonderful at talking me through their process and the scripts were absolutely spot on! Recording with Russ in the wonderful Brighton studio was great fun with lots of tea, biscuits and geeking out over the vast array of mic’s, preamps and top-quality equipment. What was more amazing was that after I spoke a single sentence, Russ knew the exact mic and preamp  setup that would give the best sound to my delivery… and it shows in the amazing final reel I received that has already led to booking many jobs since!
